Built for traders who take their craft seriously.
Trade Noted is built by traders who live and breathe prop trading. We built the tool we wanted to use.
Why we built this.
We started trading prop firm challenges and found every available journal either too expensive, too shallow on analytics, or completely ignoring the reality of prop firm rules. Spreadsheets were flexible but tedious. Paid tools charged monthly fees for features that still did not include compliance tracking.
We built Trade Noted to solve that specific problem: a journaling tool with real analytics, rules enforcement, and Monte Carlo simulation built in — completely free. Not free-tier-with-paywalls. Free as in: every feature, every user, every day.
The manual-entry design is intentional. When you type in a trade, you think about it. When it syncs automatically, you do not. The friction of deliberate entry is the first step toward disciplined trading.
Our principles.
These aren't mission-statement words. They explain every product decision we make.
Discipline over optimism
Real improvement comes from honest self-assessment, not looking at only your best trades. Trade Noted surfaces patterns most traders avoid.
Process over outcome
A losing trade can be a good trade if the process was sound. We build tools that measure process adherence, not just results.
Tools for everyone
Professional-grade risk and performance analytics should not require a $50/month subscription. We believe in removing financial barriers to good habits.
Designed for prop traders
Most journals ignore the reality of funded trader rules. Trade Noted is built with compliance enforcement and challenge tracking as core features.
